Guided tour to the Montrodó volcano and the Eccocivi Cellar
29 de May de 2018Visit of the president of FC Girona
29 de May de 2018On March 11th the Eccocivi cellar presented its most awaited wine, Ca l’Elsa, reserve of 2014. A red wine obtained from sustainable viticulture and cultivated in volcanic land, a coupage of different varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Ca l’Elsa has been resting in French oak wineskin for two years, and another year in a bottle waiting for the right moment to be consumed. To celebrate it, today in the plot of Ca l’Elsa in Sant Martí Vell we have reunited a large group of professionals of the wine sector, sommeliers, oenologists, restaurateurs, cellar friends and neighbours who wanted to share this moment with us. It has been a very special occasion because we have been able to enjoy a privileged environment, the manor house Ca l’Elsa, opened today for our guests, sharing a piece of its history. We have also been able to taste the new wines from the 2017 harvest, Montrodó Blanc and Montrodó Rosat, young, dynamic, and fresh wines, part of the Eccocivi family since the beginnings of the cellar.
